Breve Sinopsis
Enrique, a Kichwa journalist, photographs illegal mining in Intag, Imbabura, a small community in the Andes outside of Otavalo. His girlfriend, a television reporter, must choose between her loyalty to Enrique and to her father, a politician implicated in the illegal activity Enrique has documented. When she invites the leader of the community onto her show to get his perspective, he unexpectedly and defiantly declares his intention to fight against the mining company, and smears warpaint on his face. The leader is thrown in jail, and suddenly Enrique's life is in danger as unknown forces try to suppress the photos. I have only seen a 40-minute preview of this film.
